Route: From the Red Pit car park and initial descent to the north followed by a sharp left turn up the hill and then gentle left again to follow an ill defined North East ridge, pathless and through rocks and bilberries to the top. Then the usual path back to the Kirkstone Inn car park and a descent back to Red Pit.
Conditions: Bright, blinding evening sun..
